Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles (& some other stuff) 2018, part 2

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Loewe adds to the Colección Un Paseo por Madrid with the fragrance De la Mano por la Rosaleda, in a bottle by Rocio Porres: “Exclusive to Harrods, De la Mano por la Rosaleda by Loewe is an explosion for the senses, displayed in all of its magnitude through aromas such as gentle rose and warm musk. Presented in a beautiful golden bottle designed by the Spanish jewellery designer Rocio Porres, it is a real treasure to behold.” £260 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum…

The daily lemming

I did not love Cartier La Panthére, and I’m getting a little tired of Millennial Pink, but still, that’s a mighty fine looking bottle, isn’t it? Meet La Panthére in Eau de Toilette, available in 25, 50 and 75 ml. You can find it now at Nocibé in Fran… Continue reading

My own favorite, just for the spiffy packaging: Cartier La Panthére Powder De Parfum Étincelante. “A shimmering La Panthére Perfume Powder leaving on the skin a velvety veil. A product offering a new sensual gesture, to be layered with the Eau de Parfum and the Shimmering Eau de Parfum for a perfect ritual.” $75 for 100g at Neiman Marcus

Unidentified Scented Object

The vision of Cartier’s in-house fragrance nose Mathilde Laurent, Le Nuage Parfumé – aka the Unidentified Scented Object – is located at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. The scented object is in fact a cloud, a puff of perfume if you will. Inside a glass cube sits a suspended spiral staircase with a floating […] Continue reading
